Rules For Black Jack Game

The purpose of any blackjack gamer according to the Rules for Black Jack is to stop with a higher total than the dealer’s total not exceeding 21. In all the Blackjack game versions, the card values are alike: all the 2-10 cards are valued as numbered, all the face cards (Jack, Queen and King) have the value of 10 points, and an Ace can have the value as 1 or 11 depending what makes the player/dealer hand less likely to win. A hand that goes over the total of 21 is called to Bust and loses automatically. In game of Blackjack, the player’s hand plays only against the hand of a dealer, which means other player hands are unimportant.

The deal of cards

Once all the gamblers have put their wagers, the croupier deals the cards. Every gambler is dealt 2 cards face up and the croupier takes two cards, 1 up and another facing down. When all the gamers have received their cards, the dealer goes on from one gamer to the following so that each gambler can decide on the way he/she decides to gamble the hand.

The basic solutions in Rules for Black Jack comprise such solutions as to Stand, Double Down and Hit and Split and Insure etc.

Surrender, this option permits the player to surrend the hand and get back 0.5 of his primarily bet.

Hitting means asking to be dealt an extra card.

Standing option is asking to be dealt no more cards.

Doubling Down option is doubling a bet and having just one more card.

Split means asking for dividing gambler’s hand to make two separate hands and multiplying on 2 the initial wager. This decision is possible just in case the initial two cards given are of one and the same value.

Insurance is an option allowed to the gamblers if the dealer facing up card is the Ace. An insurance bet pays out 2 to 1 and regularly counts as 0.5 of the first bet. In case the dealer has a Blackjack, the player forfeits the first bet, but receives the insurance bet and the pay out back.

As the rules for black jack state after all the gamblers have made a solution, the croupier gambles the hand. He uncovers the face down card (also known as the hole card) and decides whether to ask for another card or ask for no more cards, as all the rest decisions are only for players. The croupier acts only according to the gambling room Rules for Black Jack, it is forbidden that the dealer decides as he wants. All the dealers must ask for more cards until the count of the hand is higher or exactly 17. From time to time the Rules for Black Jack may change depending the hand is hard or soft 17 (has or does not have an Ace), although the initial rule deals with all 17s.

Blackjack, Natural

The hand total 21 in the first 2 cards (a ten-valued card and an Ace) is called a Blackjack and also a Natural. This hand is the strongest hand and pays off 3-to-2 unless the dealer hand combination is also a Blackjack, which means the hands Push (the wagers are returned in full). It is worth mentioning that in case gambler’s first two cards were 2 Aces and he has chosen to split, and one of player next cards is ten-valued one, this hand is not thought as a Blackjack or a Natural, but just a hand with a hand total value of 21.
